Police Arrest Suspects in Hickory Double Homicide

HICKORY, N.C. — Police have made two arrests in relation to a homicide investigation from Thursday.

19-year-old Daniel Jeremiah Minton, turned himself in early Friday morning without incident.

Minton is facing charges for the murders of 18-year-old Braniqe McKnight and 20-year-old Janarion Knox.

Investigators say they were shot and killed around 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Ridgecrest Apartments on 12th Avenue Southeast.

Also arrested was Maurice Craig Brown, who was charged with two counts of Accessory After the Fact.
