Thousands Still Without Power As Crews Continue Irma Cleanup Around Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, NC — As people and crews work to clean up the damage left behind from Irma, more than 2,000 people are still without power in Mecklenburg County.
Hidden Valley Elementary has already said they will be closed Wednesday because the school doesn’t have power.
Crews are still working to clear several trees throughout the area that fell across power lines, roadways, and even homes when the storm came through.
