CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Jackalope Jack’s on Elizabeth will not be closing after all.
The restaurant announced on their facebook page that they will continue business for at least two more years, which is the lease term.
Decisions on if the restaurant will be torn down to accommodate new apartment buildings is still undecided until the first of two city counsel meetings scheduled in September.
Apparently supporters are able to vote against the decision and possibly extend the restaurants lease, if Rusty Rabbit is declared historic it would also help the decision to keep Jackalope Jack’s open for business.
