High pressure will persist across the area into Monday, allowing us to have plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures in the low – mid 80s. Hurricane Jose is unlikely to impact the Carolinas, however a Tropical Storm Watch has been issued along part of the NC Coast where Tropical-Storm-Force winds may be felt close to the Outer Banks. A summer-like pattern will develop late week with the chance for some afternoon showers and warmer temperatures.
