KERSHAW, N.C. β One person was sent to the hospital after being shot multiple times in Lancaster County on Saturday night, according to the sheriffβs office.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. on Bowers Lane and Country Club Road just west of Kershaw, South Carolina. When deputies arrived, they located a 25-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to a medical facility. His current condition is unknown at this time, deputies said.
No suspects have been identified at this time. Deputies say the shooting was an isolated incident and that those in the area are not in danger.
βThis investigation is just beginning, and we do not have much information yet,β said Sheriff Barry Faile. βI suspect there are people who know what happened out there, and I encourage anyone with information about this event to contact us. We need to know who did this and put that person in jail as soon as possible.β
