Wilson’s World: Highlighting “Project Pink” with Charlotte Radiology

Pink Pint Night will be held Thursday, September 28th at NoDa Brewing to Support Project Pink and Levine Cancer Institute

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – There is no doubt that you have seen Charlotte Radiology’s large pink and black Mobile Breast Cancer bus around town.   Today Wilson was at the bus with members of Charlotte Radiology to talk about the bus and importance of women getting a mammogram as well as this week’s “Pink Pint Night”.

The Mobile Breast Cancer Bus is a collaboration between Charlotte Radiology and Levine Cancer Institute to make sure that all women have the opportunity to receive what could be a life saving mammogram.  Every year the bus offers hundreds of women who are uninsured or under-insured free breast cancer screenings, bringing early detection to women who may not otherwise receive one.

This Thursday, September 28th Charlotte Radiology will hold their annual “Pink Pint Night” to raise money for Levine Cancer Institute and to keep the Mobile Breast Cancer Bus on the road.   The event will be held at NoDa Brewing Company from 4pm until 8:30pm.  The event is free and a portion of every pink beer sold,  as well as 100% of the sales from the silent auction and “Pink Pint Night” and Project Pink merchandise, will be going to Project Pink.  Visit charlotteradiology.com/pink-pint-night to find out more about the event, Project Pink or to even schedule that important mammogram.
