Adam Remembers Wink Martindale
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Legendary game show host Wink Martindale, has passed away.
Adam Wurtzel became friends with Wink, after meeting him and his wife Sandy, in Nashville.Β In 2022, Adam interviewed Wink for his “Hosts at Home” YouTube series, and in 2023, got the honor of introducing Wink on stage as a surprise guest during “Hollywood’s Greatest Game Shows,” a live stage game show that Adam tours the country with, when he is not on Rising.
Adam credits Wink’s work on shows like “Tic Tac Dough” and “High Rollers” for inspiring him to become a host.
Wink Martindale died of lymphoma.Β He was 91.
