Missing Charlotte Teen Found Dead In Montgomery County
UPDATE: Β The family of Nathan Kocmond has confirmed that he was found dead in Montgomery County, North Carolina.
The 16-year-old’s body was found by a hiker in theΒ Uwharrie National Forest on Friday, October 13th.
Kocmond’s death is being investigated as an apparent suicide.
CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is looking for 16-year-old Nathan Kocmond who has been missing since Monday afternoon.
According to police, Kocmond was last seen at his home on Kennington Court. His parents told police that he missed a meeting Monday evening and his phone had been turned off.
Kocmond was last seen driving a 2011 Honda CRV with NC license plate PAH-3753. He is described as a white male, 5’11”, average build, blue eyes, and brown hair. Officials say he was last seen wearing a green Led Zeppelin shirt and black/red Adidas shorts with white stripes.
