CHARLOTTE, NC β Uptown Charlotte is getting active this season with the introduction of Free Fitness in the Park, a new outdoor wellness series happening every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday through June 21 at Romare Bearden Park.
Open to participants ages 8 and up, the series offers fun, energizing classes designed for all fitness levels. Whether youβre just getting started or looking to add variety to your routine, certified instructors will guide participants through workouts with optional modifications provided.
Move & Groove Fitness
A high-energy, music-powered dance workout to get you moving.
- When: Tuesdays & Thursdays: May 15, 22, 27, 29, June 3, 5, 12, 17, 19
- Location: Romare Bearden Park, 300 S Church St, Charlotte, NC
- Time: 6:00pm β 7:00pm

Stretch & Rhythm Fusion
A blend of stretching, balance, and rhythm-based movement.β’
- When: Saturdays: May 17, 24, 31, June 7, 14, 21
- Location: Romare Bearden Park, 300 S Church St, Charlotte, NC
- Time: 9:00am β 10:30am
- What to Bring: Yoga mat, towel, and water
Free Fitness in the Park is part of Uptownβs new Movies, Music & Movement series, an initiative that brings life, energy, and vibrancy to the heart of Charlotte through engaging, free
