KINGS MOUNTAIN, NC — An investigation is underway after a deadly industrial accident in Kings Mountain Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews say they were called to NVR Building Products on Riverside Court at 9:10 a.m.
The caller reported that a 67-year-old employee was not breathing.
First responders say an industrial accident had occurred and the man died at the scene.
Officials have identified him as Willy Carmona of Gastonia. They say preliminary findings do not indicate foul play.
The North Carolina Department of Labor has been notified and will determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
