Wilson’s World: Having Fun at the 88th Annual Mallard Creek BBQ
The 88th Annual Mallard Creek BBQ at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church is today from 10am until 6pm.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson enjoys stopping in at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church while they prepare for their annual Mallard Creek BBQ. From getting into their group photo to giving the volunteers a rough time, it’s always an interesting morning. Today was no different as he caused chaos in the kitchen. But we get the last laugh as he gets upstaged by a 5 year old.
For 88 years members and volunteers at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church have held the BBQ that draws in bbq lovers and politicians. This year they expect to cook 15,000 pounds of pork barbecue, prepare 2,500 gallons of Brunswick stew, shred two tons of coleslaw, brew 400 gallons of coffee, and entertain close to 20,000 people.
Diners can eat at the event or take advantage of their drive thru lines. Plates and sandwiches are available as well as their great homemade brunswick stew. For more menu information and an advance order form, click HERE. Please order ahead for large orders – call 704-547-0323
Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church is located at 11400 Mallard Creek Road in Charlotte.
