LANCASTER, SC — A burglary suspect is wanted after deputies say he forced his way into a woman’s home Friday morning.
The incident happened around 8am at a home on Nope Lane. Officials say the suspect, later identified as 35-year-old Antonio Mackey, rang the woman’s doorbell and forced his way in when she opened the door. Officials say she then grabbed a pistol and fired a shot, which knocked Mackey’s hat off his head. Mackey took off into some nearby woods, and has not yet been located.
Deputies say the victim received minor injuries, and are unsure whether Mackey was injured by the gunshot.
Mackey is wanted on charges of First Degree Burglary, Kidnapping, and First Degree Assault and Battery. He is described as a black male with dreadlocks, 5′ 10,” roughly 200 lbs, and last seen wearing jeans and a black hoodie.
