CMPD Arrests Two Suspects During A Meth Bust In Ballantyne
CHARLOTTE, NC — Neighbors are concerned after CMPD arrested two people accused of having meth at a Ballantyne townhome Friday.
Jesse Cane and Shane Ardner were arrested on drug charges after a meth bust in the area of Longstone Lane and Marvin Road.
Police rammed through their townhome door and wrapped crime tape around the woods searching for evidence of a lab Friday. Detectives did not find a lab, but say they did find a small amount of meth inside the townhome.
Some neighbors are scared, others are hoping everyone learns something positive from this.
According to the department of public safety’s website, it investigated 376 meth labs in North Carolina last year. Seven in Mecklenburg County.
Anson County leads the WCCB viewing area with 22, followed by Gaston County with 18 meth lab busts.
