MORGANTON, N.C. — Police say they arrested a man for driving drunk on a moped while dressed as “Grumpy Bear.”
Officers say they stopped Keith Hurley for driving his moped without a working headlight on Oct 28th just after 3:30am. During the course of the investigation, police say they detected a strong odor of alcohol on Hurley’s breath.
After failing a road sobriety test, Hurley was taken into custody and charged with driving while impaired, according to a news release. He was issued a $1,000 secured bond.
