HICKORY, N.C. — Hickory Police are investigating after a man was found dead from a gunshot wound.
Police say they were called to Main Ave Southwest just before 8pm Monday evening in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found Michael Gardner dead. Police say the shooting happened after Gardner was involved in an altercation with a known subject.
No charges have been filed in the case. However, the investigation is continuing.
