Safe Alliance Offers Help And Support To Victims Of Sexual Harassment, Assault, Domestic Violence

CHARLOTTE, NC — Accusations of sexual harassment and assault continue to surface throughout Hollywood and across the country, but coming forward isn’t always easy.

In many cases, the events happened years ago and victims often have a tough time coming forward. Carmen Moody, a victim’s advocate supervisor with Safe Alliance in Charlotte, says seeing positive coverage can help other victims come forward and share their story.

Safe Alliance says one in three women will be impacted by sexual assault or domestic violence during their lifetime.
