WCCB Charlotte, the Bahakel Communications, Ltd. station in Charlotte, NC has an opening for an experienced morning show Co-host.
We are looking for someone with a lot of personality who has strong anchoring, reporting, and live skills, and who can be a leader on all of our platforms.
Our four-hour show has news, weather, traffic, and a whole lot more. We need someone who can not only communicate the big stories of the day – everything from news to pop culture – but who can have a good time, and engage the audience while being authentic and entertaining.
Responsibilities include:
- Co-host 4-hour daily morning show
- Pitch viable stories each day
- Enterprise unique community-based stories
- Generate creative content and conversations
- Must be able to work under deadline
- Create content for newscasts, web, social, digital and OTT platforms
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience anchoring or reporting
- Will work at WCCB’s offices/studios and on location
