CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A child in central North Carolina is among the latest in flu-reported deaths in 2017.
Reports indicate that the child died dues to “complications associated with influenza infection”.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services stated Thursday that 11 adult flu-associated deaths have been reported across the state thus far.
The Department also re-instated that flu vaccination is the most effective protection and it is not too late to get a flu shot.
