IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities are investigating a shooting in Satesville that injured one person overnight.
According to the Statesville Police Department, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 500 block of Hickory Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
Officers discovered a 30-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound in the area. Β The Iredell County EMS transported the victim to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for treatment.
The identity of the victim has not been released and no arrests have been made.
The case is still under investigation.
