CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A man was arrested Wednesday after a bomb threat was made to the Gaston County Administration building.
The Gaston County Communications Center received the threat around 1:15 p.m., prompting a multi-agency response to shut down roads nearby to West Main Avenue.
Officials confirmed the phone number used to report the bomb threat was listed to a nearby address.
Authorities went to that address and arrested Timothy Mark Henderson.
Henderson was charged with making a false report concerning a destructive device. He is being held at the Gaston County Jail under a $250,000 bond.
