The CMPD has identified the mother and children who died in an apparent double-murder suicide Saturday.
The mother has been identified as 34-year-old Christina Elizabeth Treadway. She is accused of killing her children, seven-year-old Isaiah Miller and three-year-old Iliyah Miller, before committing suicide by jumping off a bridge in northwest Charlotte.
The case is still under investigation.

Charlotte, N.C. — Police say a 3-year-old and 7-year-old were killed in northwest Charlotte by their mother who then committed suicide.
Officials say officers responded to a suicide call for service on the Old Gum Branch Road bridge at I-485. Upon arrival, officers located a female who was pronounced deceased.
Additional information gathered led officers to respond to a home in the 2100 block of Sebastiani Drive. Upon their arrival, officers located two children inside with life threatening injuries. They were both transported to CMC Main, where they were pronounced deceased.
