Museum of Illusions celebrates National STEM Day this weekend
Every child who visits on November 8th will receive a free STEM Authenticated snake cube
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — If you’ve ever wondered how science and creativity come together to trick your mind, this weekend is your chance to experience it firsthand.
The Museum of Illusions, located in Uptown Charlotte, is hosting a STEM Day event this Saturday where families can explore the science behind what tricks our brains and learn how perception can completely change what we see.
Projections from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show that STEM careers are expected to grow more than 10 percent over the next decade – much faster than for non-STEM jobs. Although experts say, there’s still work to do in closing representation gaps.
The Museum of Illusions’ STEM Day runs this Saturday, November 8, from 10 am to 10 pm. A day designed to make kids curious, creative, and maybe even question their own eyes.
Every child who visits participating Museum locations on November 8th will receive a free STEM Authenticated snake cube while supplies last.
