Tractor trailer carrying live turkeys crashes on I-77 ramp
CHARLOTTE, N.C. –Β A ramp on Interstate 77 is blocked after a tractor trailer carrying live turkeys crashed Thursday morning.
It happened near the ramp for Exit 16B for Sunset Boulevard around 4 a.m.
Highway Patrol was not able to confirm whether any turkeys survived the incident, or if the driver was injured.
The road is expected to be back open after 12 p.m.
