CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Β Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “Mountaintop” speech was his final speech.
Some say, he was predicting his death during that speech.
The Mountaintop play, performed here in Charlotte, takes a look at Dr. King’s experiences the night before his assasination.
James T. Alfred plays Dr King in the play. He says wannts to make sure people walk away with the experience of seeing an iconic hero at his most vulnerable state.
