Wilson’s World: Getting Creative with Girl Scout Cookies at the Gallery Restaurant
It's cookie season for the Girl Scouts of the Hornets' Nest Council.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Love those Girl Scout cookies, but want to make them a little more special? Wilson was at the Gallery Restaurant at the Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge where cookie creativity was on deck for the morning.
Joined by Girl Scouts Katie, Emma and Lauren Gallery Restaurant pastry chef Noelle Gogg revealed great desserts she dreamed up using Girl Scout cookies. Using Samoas, Savannah Smiles and Tagalongs she created 3 wonderful desserts one of which will be on the Gallery Restaurant menu beginning today through Valentine’s Day. Katie, Emma and Lauren announced their favorite.
The Gallery Restaurant will be offering a very special menu for Valentine’s Day only. A 3 or 4 course menu featuring scallops, beef loin, elk loin and poached lobster. Chris Shatto with Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge suggested reservations be made soon as are only a very few tables left. To make reservations call the hotel at 704-248-4100.
