One person injured in northwest Charlotte mobile home fire
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was injured during a northwest Charlotte fire that destroyed a mobile home Wednesday morning.
Fire crews responded to the blaze around 7:40am on Forestwinds Lane.
Two residents were inside the home when an interior HVAC unit went up in flames, according to the Charlotte Fire Investigation Task Force.
Thirty firefighters got the fire under control in approximately 22 minutes, says Charlotte Fire. No firefighters were injured.
The fire was ruled accidental. Both residents are being assisted with housing needs by the American Red Cross.
