Wilson’s World: With Steve Smith Previewing this Year’s Annual Strike Out Domestic Violence Event

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was at 10 Park Lanes on Montford Drive this morning where he was previewing this weekend’s Annual Strike Out Domestic Violence event.  The family friendly bowling event is held each year by the Steve Smith Family Foundation to increase awareness concerning domestic violence.

Steve stopped in to talk with Wilson about family and domestic issues that have personally affected him, leading him to create the non-profit Steve Smith Family Foundation in 2013.   The foundation promotes family health & wellness while bringing awareness and prevention of domestic violence.  Besides their work with domestic violence, the foundation also is part of the Smith Family Wellness Center, providing health needs of the disadvantaged.

Bowlers will have a choice of one of two sessions.  The afternoon sessions are sold out and there are only a few morning sessions spots available, so be sure to check out the event as soon as possible HERE.  If you aren’t able to get a spot, be sure to drop in at 10 Park Lanes this Saturday  and support the bowlers.
