Two Suspects Arrested For Multiple Break-Ins Throughout Monroe And Charlotte

MONROE, NC — Monroe Police have charged two suspects in connection to nearly 20 break-ins throughout the area.

Autavis Stover, 26, and Rondale Corbett, 25, both of Charlotte, are charged with 19 counts of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, felony conspiracy, and injury to property.

Officials say those charges stem from crimes committed at El Vallarta, Mac’s Fish and Chicken, El Aguacate, Edible Arrangements, and Taqueria La Unica on February 11th.

Additonal charges were also filed against Stover for a break-in at Second Chance Home Decor on January 20th and Dress Barn on January 28th. Those charges include breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, felony conspiracy, and injury to property.

Monroe Police say Stover and Corbett were arrested in Charlotte Thursday and will face additional charges from CMPD for crimes committed throughout their area.
