CHARLOTTE, N.C. —Β Emergency crews have temporarily closed N.C. 49 North at Cold Springs Road after an earlier accident involving a tractor trailer spilled up to 100 gallons of fuel.
Officials will keep northbound lanes closed for cleanup work, which could last until 5 p.m.
NCDOT has established a detour from N.C. 49 North to Hagler Road, Cold Springs Road South, Cold Springs Road and Walker Road, back to N.C. 49.
