Measles exposure confirmed in Gaston County

Officials say there has been a measles exposure in Gaston County.

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services says anyone who was at the Constantine’s restaurant on New Pope Road in Gastonia on Dec. 26 after 8:30 p.m, may have been exposed.

People there should monitor symptoms until Jan. 16.

That affected person also visited Christmas Town USA in McAdenville from 5:30-8 p.m. that same day, but did not visit any indoor locations.

Anyone who experiences symptoms is asked to contact their local health department immediately.
