MORGANTON, NC — An 18-year-old Freedom High School student is facing charges after he allegedly threatened mass violence at the school.
A student told administrators Wednesday that Mitchell Webb said he was going to be a school shooter, and had threatened to “pull a fire alarm and get everyone to come outside and shoot them all.”
Webb was questioned by the School Resource Officer and taken into custody. He has been charged with Making a False Report Concerning Mass Violence on Educational Property.
