Burke County Teen Arrested For School Threats Made On Snapchat

MORGANTON, NC — A 16-year-old is facing charges after investigators say he made threats against his high school on Snapchat.

A student at Freedom High School reported the threats to a teacher Wednesday, according to officials. The principal and school resource officer were immediately notified and conducted interviews with several witnesses.

Chauncey Miller was arrested Thursday night and charged with Communicating Threats.
