Wilson’s World: Visiting Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club on Marsh Road
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was visiting the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club on Marsh Road this morning learning more about some of the programs at the club as well as meeting their “Youth of the Year” and present his latest Moment of Good Award.
For years the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs have been a safe haven for kids. Wilson talked with Tatiana Aguilar who as a youth was attended the club and is now volunteering with other kids. Tatiana was recently named the Boys & Girls Club “Youth of the Year.” She encourages parents to connect their children with the club.
While at the Club he also presented his latest Moment of Good Award to Charlie Morris who has been a volunteer at the club for years and is a co-founder of the Life Navigators Program for 8th and 9th graders.
The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club is always in need of volunteers. To find out more about the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club and how you can volunteer go to their website at bgccharlotte.org
