INDIAN TRAIL, NC — The search continues for a 12-year-old boy reported missing Tuesday afternoon.

Chancellor Ashton Kelly was last seen around 4:40pm walking away from his home on Salmon River Drive toward the pool area in the Meriwether neighborhood. Officials say he was wearing a black shirt, khaki pants, and black Jordan shoes.

Deputies say they think Kelly left home voluntarily, but never returned. He is also a student at Sun Valley Middle School.
