CMPD says Johnathon Davis was found Friday evening by Mint Hill Police. Officers say he was not injured and is safe.

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD needs help finding a 17-year-old that went missing early Thursday morning.

Police say Johnathon Blake Davis was reported missing around 6:51am Friday. Family members say he left home on Camp Stewart Road in east Charlotte Thursday morning and never came back.

Officials say Davis has been through several “emotional and disruptive events” recently, and his family is concerned about his welfare.
