Police say Tevin Anderson has been released from Piedmont Medical Center, and is now facing additional charges related to Wednesday’s standoff.
Anderson has been additionally charged with Unlawful Carry of a Handgun, Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, Purchase of a Controlled Substance within Proximity of a Park, Trafficking Oxycodone, and three counts of Unlawful Conduct Toward a Child.
Police say the three counts involving children stem from when Anderson ran into the home on E. Black Street carrying drugs and a gun.

ROCK HILL, SC — Police have arrested the man they say barricaded himself inside a home Wednesday afternoon after running from officers.
Police say Tevin Anderson was carrying a gun when he ran from his car during a routine traffic stop and into a home on E. Black Street today. The home’s family managed to escape while Anderson barricaded himself inside.
After several hours of negotiation attempts, SWAT quietly entered the home and took Anderson into custody without further incident.
Officers say they located the gun, a large amount of narcotics, and money where Anderson was hiding inside the home. Anderson also appeared to have taken a foreign substance before his arrest, according to police, and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Anderson was wanted on warrants charging him with Hit and Run Fixed Object, Leaving the Scene of and Accident Unattended Vehicle, Driving Under Suspension 3rd and Subsequent Offense, and Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
Once he is released from the hospital, officials say additional charges related to today’s events will be issued.
