CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte is getting closer to its goal of building 5,000 affordable housing units by the end of 2019.. but that won’t be enough to accommodate the need for 24,000 affordable apartments and homes.
Terrance talked with Charlotte City Council member LaWana Mayfield about some challenges facing the city, and how to change the discussion.
