ROCK HILL, S.C. – A man is facing multiple charges after a shooting left a 19-year-old and a 4-year-old dead in Rock Hill Tuesday night.
Officers were called to a home on Frank Street around 7:38 p.m.
When they arrived, they found two adult men and a young child suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to the preliminary investigation, a 19-year-old man and a 34-year-old man got into an altercation inside the home.
Police say both men were armed and exchanged gunfire. The shooting continued as the two men moved outside the house.
Both men were struck during the gunfire, along with a four-year-old child who was inside the home at the time.
The 19-year old and the 4-year old died from their injuries.
The 34-year-old, identified as Cedric Akeen Creighton of Lancaster is charged with two counts of Murder, Possession of a Weapon During a Crime of Violence, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of Certain Crimes.
Creighton is currently being treated at an area hospital for his injuries. Police say once he is released, he will be transported to the Rock Hill Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing.
