Autism Awareness Month with Tim Newman of Adult Spectrum Transitions

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – April is Autism Awareness Month, and 1 in 68 adults have autism.

There are lots of programs designed to help kids — but very few resources for adults.

One man is working to change that, by starting a new program to give opportunities to adults in our area with autism.

Tm Newman is the co-founder of Adult Spectrum Transitions and he stopped by to talk about what the group does, why it’s needed, and a big fundraiser coming up this weekend.
