Water Levels Rising After Another Round Of Rain
CHARLOTTE, NC.– Water Levels in Little Sugar Creek were high Thursday, the water started to flow over the banks.
Some on edge anticipating another round of heavy rains. Water levels in Little Sugar Creek and Briar Creek already high before the rain started falling Thursday evening.
Little Sugar Creek still seeing the aftermath of the first rounds of storms, with a coating of sand and mud all over sidewalks. Something Elizabeth resident Jakwon McDonnell noticed while walking along the green way.
“Mildew smell through the park, like a dirty mop smelling the water is very filthy,” say McDonnell.
