Protesters gather in Charlotte’s First Ward Park to speak out on the war in Iran

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Protesters took to First Ward Park on Monday to speak out against President Donald Trump’s decision to bomb Iran. Those we talked to say they’re angry, not just over Trump’s growing willingness to attack other countries, but also the use of taxpayer money.

Protester Zach Thomas says, “We saw early this year that the United States bombed Venezuela and kidnapped their president. We want to put an end to the trillion dollar war machine and have that money be used to actually benefit Americans.”
