CHARLOTTE, N.C. – An NBA marketing move is drawing national attention, and one player is publicly pushing back. San Antonio Spurs center Luke Kornet is calling on the Atlanta Hawks to cancel an upcoming “Magic City Night” promotion.

The event is celebrating Atlanta’s famous adult entertainment venue, Magic City.

Kornet says aligning an NBA franchise with a strip club sends the wrong message, particularly in a league that promotes inclusivity, family engagement, and respect for women.
