UNDATED (AP) — Justin Turner homered and drove in three runs against his former club, emergency starter Ian Thomas hurled five effective innings, and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the New York Mets 7-2 to take the first two games of their weekend series at Citi Field. Thomas allowed one run and three hits over five innings in his first major league start.

NEW YORK (AP) — All-Star pitcher Zack Greinke (GREHN’-kee) is still in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ plans to start this weekend in New York against the Mets following the birth of his son on West Coast.
