CHERAW, S.C. – The Chesterfield Co. Sheriff’s Office is asking the community to be on the lookout for a woman they say has been kidnapped. Deputies say 23-year-old Myasia McIver was taken around 8:15pm on Monday from Cleveland Street in the Cheraw area. She was wearing a white shirt with blue leggings. She has black and blonde dreadlocks.
They say the suspect is 29-year-old Kendrick Terry. He could be driving a 2017 white GMC Terrain with NC tag FMK-5527. He is wearing a black shirt, blue shorts and a blue do-rag.
Investigators say Terry is known to frequent the Hamlet area. They also say he should be considered armed and to use extreme caution around him.
Sheriff Cambo Streater asks the public to call 911 immediately if you see McIver or Terry. He says do not approach them.
