Bald eagle rescued from alligator-filled canal
A bald eagle is recovering after what’s being called a “majestic save” in Florida.
The eagle crash landed in someone’s yard in Palm City and ended up in a nearby canal that’s known to be frequented by large alligators.
A neighbor called the sheriff’s office and officers waded in and rescued the bird.
The eagle is now at a wildlife hospital in stable conditions. Doctors do say it has a significant wing injury.
