Record Breaking Heat for Mother’s Day, Thunderstorms Next Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Tough break for Mother’s Day as temps continue their climb. Highs in Charlotte hit the low to mid 90s under mostly sunny skies.

We’ll hang on to the 90s Monday before rain cools us midweek. Speaking of rain, showers and thunderstorms roll in Monday night and last all the way into next weekend. At least, it drops high temps into the low and mid 80s.
