One hurt, transported to hospital after fire in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person was transported to a hospital after an early morning house fire in east Charlotte.

The fire broke out at a home on Bainbridge Road around 2 a.m. Monday.

No word yet on what started the fire, but the incident is under investigation.
