Shooting in Concord park leaves one dead, one injured

CONCORD, N.C. – One person is dead and a second is hurt after a shooting at a park in Concord.

The shooting happened around 5:30 Thursday evening in the parking lot of Hartsel Park, off Sunderland Road Southwest. Police have not given details on what led up to the shooting.

The park should reopen on Friday.
