Subtropical Storm Alberto Sends More Storms to the Piedmont

Rain, rain’s going to stay. We’ve got rain chances every day this week as a Subtropical storm continues to drive moisture over the Piedmont. The good news is that Charlotte may stay dry long enough to finish the Coca Cola 600 Sunday. Starting Monday and lasting through Thursday, though, rain chances run from 60% to 80%. Charlotte may see over two inches over that time. However, some of the mountains and foothills could see four or more inches. Temps stay in the mid 80s in Charlotte for most of the week, but Friday likely climbs to 90.
