Deputies: man confesses to dousing girlfriend’s home with gasoline and setting it on fire
LINCOLN CO., N.C. – A man is accused of pouring gasoline on his girlfriend’s house, then setting it on fire after the two got in a fight.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies say it happened around 2:00 Monday morning on Gate Key Court near Denver. Deputies later tracked down and arrested 32-year-old Martavious Isabell after a pursuit that ended in Catawba County.
They say he confessed to setting the fire. He’s also accused of slashing the tires on his girlfriend’s car. We’re told the fire was put mostly put out with a fire extinguisher.
